01 / PLAN WITH CONFIDENCE
Keep what works. Improve what doesn’t.
Start by identifying the everyday frustrations: a crowded preparation area, hard-to-reach cupboards, too little pantry space or an island that interrupts movement. A useful renovation brief explains both the problems and what you already like. Photos, approximate room dimensions and appliance details help us discuss a sensible direction.
02 / PLAN WITH CONFIDENCE
Keep the layout or rethink the room?
If the existing layout works, replacement cabinetry may be a way to focus the project. Where storage or circulation is the bigger issue, a different cabinet configuration may be worth exploring. Moving sinks, appliances or walls introduces work beyond cabinetry; responsibilities and costs must be confirmed before the final quotation.
03 / PLAN WITH CONFIDENCE
What can the cabinetry scope include?
Discuss cabinets, cupboards, drawers, pantry units, an island and solutions for awkward spaces. The approved scope should identify the cabinet construction, door finish, selected benchtop and hardware, installation arrangements and any work excluded from the quote.
04 / PLAN WITH CONFIDENCE
Understand what shapes the budget.
Room size alone does not determine the price. Cabinet quantities, drawer configurations, finish choices, surface fabrication and the extent of layout changes all matter. Bring an approximate budget so the discussion can focus on priorities. Removal, plumbing, electrical and building work must be allowed for separately unless expressly included.
